AFCON QUALIFIERS: Ademola Lookman sets target for Super Eagles

Super Eagles striker, Ademola Lookman has declared that Team Nigeria is gearing up for the 2027 AFCON Qualifiers.

The 2024 Africa Footballer of the Year spoke about the upcoming 2027 AFCON following the Atletico Madrid 2-1 derby win against Real Madrid.

"WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO WINNING AS A TEAM" Lookman says.

Nigeria is looking forward to facing Madagascar on the 25th of September and four days later, they will be taking in Guinea Bissau (29th of September).

Reacting to these fixtures the winger said;

"We have two though opponents in front of us and we'll be looking forward to winning the matches".

Coach ÉRIC ?EKOU CHELLE called up a total of 24 players for the AFCON QUALIFIERS.

Due to Victor Osimehn's injury, Coventry City Forward, Taiwo Awoniyi have been called up to replace him.
