Atletico Madrid will be without Antoine Griezmann from next season, and the forward’s departure will be felt greatly, summer signing Ademola Lookman has alluded.
Lookman, who joined Atleti from Atalanta in the January transfer window for €35million, has been a steal for the club, quickly making a big impact in just four months.
Perhaps the Madrid scenery and style of football in Spain are enchanting, but even more so the influence of Griezmann on and off the pitch is unquestionably massive.

“It’s incredible. The attention to detail is so much, how they see the game, their touches, intelligence to see certain players at key moments,” the 28-year-old reveled.
“You are able to just appreciate them for what they bring and what they have as players.
“I speak about Griezmann (Antoine) so many times, about how important he is in the dressing room and how is he a key factor off the pitch, it’s a pleasure to play with this type of players.“
