Rivers United shot-stopper Theophilus Afelokhai has disclosed his intention to add to his list of career achievements at the Portharcout-based NPFL club.
Afelokhai, who is currently suspended by Rivers United Management for misconduct alongside an experienced teammate, Ifeanyi Anaemena said he has always been a winner and his goal is to become a winner with Rivers.
“Any club now that have opportunity to pick their points now they should do it, am here to achieve and also contribute to the team as well, I believe am a winner and definitely the spirit of winning is here with us,” The former Enyimba goalie said.
‘We just need to continue winning for our dream to come true, this season I really want to make history again I don’t believe Afelokhai is good only in one place, am good everywhere. ”
“People were saying I was only good at pillars but I left pillars for Enyimba. The same thing happened so, that’s why am here today to prove to the world again that, am not just here for the numbers but to make history once again by winning the league or any trophy,” he concluded.
