Nigeria WNT captain, Onome Ebi says they is in high spirits despite the recent troubles that have engulfed the team.

Recent media outbursts between Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have overshadowed the team’s preparations.

There are also reports of an undergoing war between the players and the Federation over match bonuses.​

Speaking from the team’s training camp, Ebi said the Players are focused and getting ready regardless.

“The sessions have been intense, motivating and okay. The girls are in good shape, good spirit and ready to go.

“The training speaks for itself as regards the mood in camp because this is what I bargained for.

“The players are meeting up with physical and tactical aspects of training; the mood is okay,” She concluded.​

The Falcons will start their campaign with Group B encounters against Olympic champions Canada.
