Bay FC (2-2-4) now sits 11th in the 14-team NWSL table—a far cry from the lofty hopes tied to their attacking talents, including Oshoala and Zambia’s Racheal Kundananji.

The 29-year-old forward questioned the logic behind the financial imbalance:

“It shows you the amount of impact that the African players here have had that now more are coming in,” Oshoala said, warning opponents that “we just keep getting better and better.”
