The reigning NPFL champions, Enugu Rangers, were held to a 0-0 draw by El-Kanemi Warriors in their opening fixture of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium on Saturday.
Despite dominating the match, Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side failed to convert their chances into goals, and Rangers blamed it on “hard luck”.
The Club posted on social media:
“All squared up at full time—hard luck as we couldn’t find a breakthrough.”
Only one game was played on the opening week of the NPFL, other matchday one fixtures are scheduled to take place next week.
