Trabzonspor have won the Turkish Cup after defeating Konyaspor 2-1 in the final, with striker Paul Onuachu scoring both goals to secure the trophy.
Onuachu opened the scoring in the 18th minute after Wagner Pina delivered a precise cross from the right wing.
The Nigerian forward connected with a superb volley from the centre of the box to give Trabzonspor the lead.
Konyaspor responded in the 50th minute through DR Congo international Jackson Muleka, who equalised to make it 1-1.
The winning goal came in the 76th minute after Marko Jevtovic handled the ball inside the penalty area.

The referee immediately pointed to the spot, and Onuachu calmly converted the penalty, placing the ball into the bottom-right corner.

The victory means Trabzonspor have now won the Turkish Cup (Türkiye Kupası) for the 10th time in their history.

It also marks the fifth team trophy of Onuachu’s professional career, capping off an impressive season for the Nigerian international.
Trabzonspor’s successful campaign not only saw them lift the Turkish Cup but also secure qualification for next season’s UEFA Europa League.
The club will return to European football after a one-season absence and are set to enter the competition at the play-off round stage.
