With the countdown to the 2026 FIFA World Cup entering its final days, Africa’s representatives have officially unveiled their final squads for football’s biggest spectacle.
The expanded 48-team tournament, which kicks off on June 11 across the United States, Canada and Mexico, will see the continent’s biggest football stars attempt to make history on the global stage.
From Mohamed Salah’s Egypt and Achraf Hakimi’s Morocco to Sadio Mané’s Senegal and Riyad Mahrez’s Algeria, African nations are bringing a blend of experienced veterans and exciting young talents as they prepare to challenge the world’s elite.
What About Nigeria?
Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Super Eagles reached the CAF playoffs but were ultimately eliminated, meaning they will miss a second consecutive World Cup finals.
