Celtic forward, Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his desire to win silverware again.
The Nigerian striker, who is enjoying a strong run with Celtic, said he is highly motivated as the club prepares for the Scottish Cup Final 2026, while also remaining in contention for the league title.
“A cup final is not easy. Obviously, we will do our best to win a trophy.

“I don’t know how long it’s been for the fans, but for me, it’s been a long time since I have won one. I will be really happy and excited to win,” Iheanacho said.
He added that the team remains focused and determined to finish the season strongly.
“Collectively as a team, we will really fight to win the final,” he stated.

Iheanacho played a key role in helping Celtic reach the final, scoring twice in their emphatic 6-2 victory over St Mirren F.C. in the semi-final.
The 27-year-old last won a major trophy in 2024, when he lifted the EFL Championship 2023–24 title with Leicester City.
Celtic will face Dunfermline Athletic F.C. in the final, with Iheanacho and his teammates aiming to cap off their season with silverware.
