The Flamingos failed to reach the final of the 2022 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, losing to Colombia.
After a goalless regulation time, the game was decided with penalties and Flamingos lost 6-5.
Omamuzo Edafe who was the heroine of the quarter final match with US last week allowed the Colombians back in the game, after missing what could have been the winning penalty.
Comfort Folorunsho who missed against the United States failed once again and killed off the dream of reaching the final in the process.
The Bankole Olowookere’s side will now face the loser of Germany versus Spain encounter.
