Coming off a win in their opening match of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is playing his cards close to his chest as the team prepares for a tricky Guinea Bissau test on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles were made to work for the maximum points against Madagascar in Uyo and Chelle concedes he expects their next opponent will present a different challenge.
Debutants George Ilenikhena and Moses Usor scored either half of the encounter against the Barea to come from behind to win 2-1 on Friday night.
Speaking on the next mission, Chelle was cryptic about the approach to take against Tuesday's host Guinea Bissau at the September 24 Stadium.
'Guinea Bissau, this is not the same team as Madagascar; they have their strengths and weaknesses,' the Super Eagles Manager told Brila.net.
'I have to think about our approach, I cannot tell you exactly what system we will employ, but I will have to go with the condition of the players and then plot a plan.'
Meanwhile, before the team's departure to Bissau on Sunday, only 23 players took part in the team training session.
Ademola Lookman trained away from the group as he was put through a light workout. The winger, we gathered may be nursing an injury from the Madagascar match.
While he is not considered a doubt for Tuesday's match as he travelled with the squad, there's no official confirmation yet on the state of his fitness.
Nigeria will face Group L leader's Guinea Bissau, who beat Tanzania 2-0 in their opening game.
Both teams have previously met four times and the minnows have a win to their name.
There are a 106 places between the teams in the current FIFA ranking, but nothing about the fixture suggests that there'll be a huge gulf.
