Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade clinched the winning goal as Atletico Madrid Femenino triumphed over Valencia with a 1-0 victory in the Liga F.

Ajibade netted during extra time in the first half, securing all three points for her team.

Despite the win, Atletico Madrid Femenino finds themselves 19 points adrift of league leaders Barcelona Femeni and one point behind third-placed Levante, having played an additional match.

Ajibade is expected to be crucial when Nigeria face off against South Africa on April 5 in the first leg qualifying match for CAF’s Women’s Olympic Tournament.
