Bayelsa Queens defender Glory Edet reveals the side is in good shape and looking forward to a solid performance against Simba Queens.
The Nigerian Champions are aiming to finish third at the ongoing 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League.
On Saturday, Bayelsa Queens will face Simba Queens in the third place playoff game at the Stade Hassan Moulay.
Speaking ahead of the game, Edet stated that the team had recovered from the painful semi final defeat to hosts, AS FAR, and are now determined to win the bronze.
“The level of the competition is very high, and the teams performed well showing the world, this is what African women’s teams are all about,” said the 21-year-old full-back.
“We were down but now we are fine, we thought we will be in the finals and we are not.
