Maduka Okoye, Tom Dele-Bashiru, Joseph Hungbo and Tobi Adeyemi all got game time in Watford’s friendly match at the Club’s training ground against Cambridge United this weekend.
Okoye started in goal for the Hornets, while Dele-Bashiru was deployed in his favorite midfield position.
Hungbo and Tobi Adeyemi came on in the second half for Kwadow Baah and Mathias Messina respectively.
The young Goalkeeper was making his first appearance since his move from Sparta Rotterdam.
The game ended 3-1 in the favor of the visitors and Okoye who played for just 45 minutes conceded once.
He was substituted for Bachmann who let in two goals from Joe Ironside swiftly after the break.
The Hornets’ pre-season practice continues on Tuesday (July 5), with more friendly fixtures in Austria before they return for the new Championship season.
