Coach Jose Peseiro says he’s still trying to introduce his style of play, despite the team’s solid start to the ongoing CAF African Cup qualification campaign.
The Super Eagles recorded 2-1 victories over Sierra Leone last Thursday, before trashing Sao Tome and Principe10-0 on Monday.
The victories mean the three-time African Champions Champions remain unbeaten in competitive matches under the Portuguese.
“We want to introduce our ideas – this match was good because they tried to follow our organization, our style, our ideas.” He told the press in an interview.
Peseiro also praised some of the players who came in the second half of both encounters.
“I am also happy because the guys who entered during the matches did as well as those players who started,” Peseiro said.
Peseiro’s side will return to action in the qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau in September.
