Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun featured for Glasgow Rangers in their emphatic league win over Motherwell on Sunday.
Balogun who has struggled with fitness issues was introduced in the second half of the encounter for Filip Helander.
Balogun has missed the previous three matches for the Gers, including the last two league games and the Europa League success last week.
It was a sweet return for the former Wigan Athletics defender as Rangers thrashed their hosts by five goals to one to extend their lead on the table.
Speaking after the game, Balogun said he’s delighted to back in action and he also praised his teammates for the fantastic results.
“Great feeling to be back out there with the boys and get another important win – well-done lads, ” he said
