The Premier League have confirmed the restart of the season on Wednesday, June 17.

Two rearranged matches – Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United – will kickstart the remainder of the campaign in 20 days.

 

Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters said: “Today we have provisionally agreed to resume the Premier League on Wednesday 17 June.

 

The return date was agreed on after talks between the 20 clubs were held on Thursday.
