Sunshine stars player Suleiman Ogodo has suggested that the Nigeria Professional Football League should continue if when the conditions are right but noted strongly that the league organizers should explore the option of playing the Super six if there is a deadline especially to ensure that continental representatives emerge from the Super six.
The former FC Ifeanyi Ubah player told brila.net that the league organizers should however ensure that there is no relegation or promotion in the topflight.
He, however, stressed that having the league continue will be a better option for everyone if a little bit more time can be bought in the overall interest of everyone.
“We should just wait, when everything calm down and everything is a bit okay, then we should continue the league from where we stopped.
I guess we should continue the league but once they have a deadline, they should play the Super Six then we will know the people that will represent us on the continent but let the league end like that.
Nobody will relegate, nobody will promote and then we start another league as soon as possible. “
