Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has laud side for their hard fought win over Simon Moses’ Nantes football club on Sunday.

Osimhen and his Lille teammates secure 1-0 win at home to keep their hope of UEFA Champions league qualification for next season alive.

The game also saw Super Eagles’ most exciting youngsters battled for supremacy, but it was Osimhen who came on top.

Speaking after the game, Osimhen explained that the victory is a vital one for his side as they continue to push for continental qualifications next season.

“It’s important to get all the three points, because we have to keep hope for the Champions league spot.”

“Nantes are very good side and it’s important to get a win over them because they are very good and organised” he told the media.
