Abdallah’s Enyimba return ended in tears as Enyimba extends winning streak

Champions Enyimba of Aba thrashed visiting Wikki Tourists of Bauchi 3-0 in Nigeria professional football league rescheduled game at the Aba township stadium on Wednesday.

The People’s Elephants welcomed their former boss Usman Abdallah back to Aba for the first since he was sacked back him January and it was Enyimba who proved to be a better side.

 

Enyimba took the lead in the first half through Nigerian youth international Stanley Dimgba, before in form Austine Oladapo added the second goal of the game in second half.

 

On loan Remo Stars forward, Victor Mbaoma completed the rout with the last goal of the game to condemn Abdallah and his boys to another heavy away defeat.

 

Meanwhile, Oladapo has now scored seven goals for Enyimba this season, while Mbaoma makes goal number eleven for the Fatai Osho side.

 

Enyimba moved from 15th to 11th after the valuable win and they will hope to extend their winning streak to five when they take on Abia Warriors on Sunday.
