Table Tennis rising star Azeez Sholanke says he’s focus is about producing a memorable outing at the 2019 ITTF World Junior Table Tennis Championships.
Sholanke will compete in the Team Event, Double and Mixed Double events, flying Nigeria’s flag in Thailand, along side Seven others.
Significantly, it will be the 18-year-old’s last tournament as a Junior and he has told brila.net that he wants to bring a medal back home.
“This is the last opportunity for me playing the world junior championship because after this I can’t come back to this again.
“I want to play this one with all my heart and strength, to get a medal for Nigeria,” the World number 35 ranked player said.
The Championships serves off on November 24th, and the Nigerian Teams heads out on Friday 22nd.
