Jamilu Collins scored a 30 yarder for his first Bundesliga goal, but SC Paderborn fell 3-2 at home to Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Collins netted a screamer in the 84th minute; the last in a five-goal thriller, as Paderborn sink further down in the Bundesliga.
The Nigerian defender played his sixth consecutive League game and 90 minutes under his belt.
He was the best player in a Paderborn shirt on the day and scored a 7.8 rating per whoscored.com.
Paderborn who are still searching for their first home points this season, conceded early in the first-half (Serge Gnabry 15′).
They were 2-0 down after 55 minutes, as Philippe Coutinho doubled for the holders. The hosts, were not going down without a fight though and in the 68th minute Kai Proger halved the deficit.
However, Bayern Munich were too much class for their opponents and Robert Lewandowski couldn’t be denied as he netted in the 79th minute for this 10th league goal this season.
It didn’t deflate the courage of the hosts though and Jamilu Collins’ goal could have seen them launch a late fight back; it didn’t happen.
