Enugu Rangers Head Coach Benedict Ugwu has described his side’s 2-1 defeat to AS Pelican in their CAF Confederation Cup first-leg first round game, as a temporary set back.
Ugwu said his side may have lost but are not out and got a “vital goal” away from home, as insurance policy.
“We lost but we are not out, we are hoping to beat them in the second-leg, we would have won the game but we lost this match by ourselves, we will take correction in the second match but we are sure to qualify,” Ugwu told brila.net.
“We just lost it like that, but we are hopeful of qualifying.”
