Mourinho Picks Olosunde several Academy players for Spurs, Pogba in France following Father’s Death

Paul Pogba has not travelled with Manchester United ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

The £89.3million signing was left devastated on Friday morning following the passing of his father, 79-year-old Fassou Antoine after a long illness.

Pogba was told of the news after he arrived for training at United’s Carrington complex and left soon after.

He was not part of the first team group that travelled on the train to London from Stockport on Saturday evening.

Marouane Fellaini will also miss out as he serves the final part of his three-match domestic suspension.

Manager Jose Mourinho has instead turned to the youngsters who were given first team debuts at Arsenal last weekend with Scott McTominay and Axel Tuanzebe in the squad.

Winger Demetri Mitchell, Matty Willock and Matt Olosunde were also added to the group as they headed to the Landmark Hotel prior to Sunday’s game.
