Nottingham Forest have confirmed former Aston Villa Manager Martin O’Neill as their new manager.
O’Neill, who won two European Cups with the club as a player, succeeds Aitor Karanka. The Spaniard was sacked late last week.
“One of the original and most-loved ‘Miracle Men’, Martin is finally realizing a life-long dream in managing his beloved Nottingham Forest,” said the club in a statement.
There is no word from the club on who will be part of O’Neill’s backroom team at the City Ground.
The Irish Sun reported on Monday that Roy Keane will be a member of O’Neill’s staff.
