Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru has thanked parent Club, Everton and their medical team after returning to full training with Anderlecht training this week.
Onyekuru, 20, was signed by the Everton last summer from KAS Eupen, but was instantly loaned out to the Belgian giants for the whole of the 2017/18 season.
The Nigerian forward quickly found his feet at his temporary club, bagging 10 goals in 28 appearances for Anderlecht including some impressive displays in their Champions League campaign this season.
However, his time in Belgium looked to have been cut short in December when he suffered a serious knee injury, forcing him to return to USM Finch Farm in Liverpool for treatment.
Onyekuru took to his social media handles to share his gratitude to Everton as he announces his return to full training with the Belgian giants, Anderlecht.
I want to say thank you to everyone that made my recovery possible. The medical team, staff and doctors @Everton for their rehab and facilities. I also want to thank @rscanderlecht and the amazing supporters for their support and their faith in me during this journey🙏🏾🙏🏾 pic.twitter.com/evVuFT3S1T
