Nigerian club, Akwa United touched down in Khartoum, Sudan early hours of Thursday after more than 11 hours flight.
The team left Murtala Muhammed International Airport by 2pm on Wednesday, and were expected to arrive Addis Ababa, by 8pm but the weather condition was not conducive enough for landing.
The pilot proceeded to Djibouti and landed there.
After about 1hour 30minutes they took off from Djibouti and arrived Addis Ababa at 10:30pm on Wednesday for a connecting flight to Sudan.
At exactly 11:00pm the team took off from Addis Ababa to Khartoum and arrived the Sudanese capital at 12:30am this morning.
It took 20 minutes by road from the Airport to the hotel and they checked in at exactly 2:00am this morning.
Akwa United play away to Al Hilal in the first-leg of the CAF Confederation Cup play off round.
The game is will be played at the Al-Hilal Stadium, Omdurman on Friday.
