Revealed: Barcelona team to face Chelsea, two key players return

La Liga giants, Barcelona have revealed that two of their key players have returned to their squad for tonight’s Champions League clash with Chelsea.

Lionel Messi, who scored his side’s goal in the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in the first leg, returns after missing Barcelona ‘s win at Malaga at the weekend due to the birth of his third child.

Andres Iniesta also makes a welcome return amid injury fears going into tonight’s game at the Nou Camp.

The Spaniard was expected to miss out against the Blues after picking up a hamstring problem in the recent win against Atletico Madrid, yet he has recovered from the problem to face the EPL Champions.

However, it’s still not clear as to whether or not he will be fully fit to start.

Speaking to the press yesterday ahead of the game, manager Ernesto Valverde said:

“He played a big part of the training session without a problem, we will see today and how he feels.

“It is down to the player, I don’t know if he will play or not.

“When a game like this, the player is always more willing to play. Is the risk too excessive or not? We will see.”

While Chelsea will be hoping he doesn’t start, Conte was waxing lyrical about the player when asked about him in his press conference.
