Liberian President, George Weah, has tipped Nigerian Super Eagles to win the World Cup billed for Russia in June and make the Continent proud.

The Former AC Milan star, Weah made the remark earlier today after he held a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House Presidential Villa Abuja,

The President was on an official visit to Nigeria, but while responding to questions from Journalists, he confirmed that Nigeria has the potentials to lift the FIFA World Cup.

George Weah also stated that “Everything the players need must be put in place as they prepare for the World Cup”.

Advising Nigeria to ensure early preparation, the Liberian number one citizen said a situation where the players lose concentration because “one Minister took money away” should not be allowed to happen.

The Liberian President, George Weah is the only African player to win the coveted World Best award in his days as a professional footballer.
