CHAN 2018: Home-based Eagles through to Semifinals after beating Angola 2-1

CHAN- Home-based super Eagles defeated Angola 2-1 in the Quater-final stage of the championship to advance into the Semifinals.

The super Eagles left it late to score the equaliser after the Angolan side got the first goal of the match.

It was a defensive error from Timothy Timothy of Eyimba Fc that resulted into the goal.

No goal was scored in the first half. The super Eagles missed begging chances that could have given them an early lead in the first half.

But it was a three goal thriller at the end of the encounter that was dragged into Extra-time after playing a 1-1 draw in full time.
