CHAN 2018: Coach Salisu confident of Eagles progress despite Rwanda stalemate

CHAN 2018: Head Coach of the Super Eagles team B, Salisu Yusuf has expressed his confidence in the team despite last night’s goalless draw against Rwanda.

In an interview earlier today on Brila FM, the tactician was full of confidence as he speaks aftermath of his side’s stalemate last night.

“We know it’s not going to be an easy one, No team is going to be easy, but we are sure of progressing in the group” Coach Salisu stated.

The Amavubi of Rwanda frustrated the Super Eagles for the entire duration of the game, Eagles had over 20 chances, hitting the crossbar three times but failed to convert any.

The Super Eagles head coach also clamour for calm, he emphasized that the team will get everything right as the tournament continues.

Libya, the defending Champions had earlier defeated Equatorial Guinea 3-0 to stay at the summit of the Group.

Nigeria’s next game comes up on Friday as they take on their counterparts from Libya at the Stade Ibn Batouta in Tangier.
