An African team will win the World Cup, Says Eagles Goalie Uzoho

Super Eagles and Deportivo La Coruna of Spain goalkeeper, Francis Odinnaka Uzoho has tipped an Africa Country to win the World Cup in Future.

Speaking in an exclusive Telephone interview with brila.net’s Anthony Bekederemo, the shot-stopper expressed his belief in the future of African Football.

“An African country will definitely win the World Cup, but not now”, Uzoho told brila.net.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper stated that the future of African Football is bright with the recent development of football in the continent.

Therefore, the goalkeeper is confident that an African country will win the biggest FIFA Mundial.

In October 2017 Uzoho received his first call-up to the Nigerian senior squad.

He made his full international debut on 14 November, replacing Daniel Akpeyi in a 4–2 friendly win against Argentina.

Uzoho currently plays Club Football for Spanish La Liga side, Deportivo La Coruna and he made his first team and La Liga debut on 15 October 2017, starting in a 0–0 away draw against SD Eibar.
