Super Eagles and Changchun Yatai of China striker Odion Ighalo has stated that he would love to see Nigeria drawn with England when the draws for the 2018 world cup in Russia is conducted next week Friday.
Ighalo speaking ahead of the much-anticipated draws said no team is a pushover at the world cup.
The 28-year-old power forward, however, said he hopes Nigeria gets lucky with the draws as much as he would love to see the Eagles play against the Three Lions.
“I have done well in England, so I want to face their National team at the World Cup”, says the former Watford player.
“Every team at the World Cup are a top team, but there are some you don’t want to face early” Ighalo told Brila.net
The Ajegunle born footballer was a member of the Super Eagles team that has qualified for the FIFA Mundial in Russia next year.
Ighalo is currently out injured and was unable to represent the country in the last set of fixtures for the Super Eagles in the dead rubber game against Algeria and the glamour game against Argentina.
