Nigeria’s Raphael Onyedika has won his second league title with Club Brugge in the Belgian top flight.
Club Brugge sealed the title following a dramatic 2-2 draw against KV Mechelen, while their closest challengers, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, were held to a goalless draw by KAA Gent on the same day.
The results confirmed Brugge as champions with one game left to play.
Brugge finished the campaign with 27 wins, four draws and eight defeats, collecting 54 points on their way to lifting the league title.

The triumph marks Onyedika’s second league crown with Club Brugge and also secures the club’s place in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase.

The Nigerian midfielder, 24, featured in 30 league matches during the season, making 22 starts as he continued to play a key role in the team’s success.
With the club season now over, Onyedika’s attention will shift to international duty with Nigeria.
The Super Eagles will assemble in the United Kingdom for the upcoming Unity Cup friendly tournament.
