Kelechi Iheanacho came off the bench to score the decisive goal for Celtic in their 2–1 victory over Hibernian.
The Nigerian forward made a strong impact in just 20 minutes of action, contributing several passes, one tackle, and two ball recoveries alongside his match-winning strike.
Speaking after the game, Iheanacho expressed his delight at helping the team secure all three points.
“I feel great to come in always to help the team get the win, I feel great always, the whole team is happy, the fans are also happy which is good for us players.
“It’s really important to be patient when you are playing against ten men, it will be really difficult because you are playing against ten men because they will sit back and wait for you to come so you need patience to move from side to side to create those spaces we did that and in the second half we got our reward.”
Celtic manager Martin O’Neill also praised Iheanacho’s contribution, highlighting his composure and quality in front of goal.
