Monday’s goals took his tally to three in pre season.
Highly rated Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was among the goal scorers for Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in their 8-0 win against a team of Veltins selection in their first pre season game.
New signing Landry Dimata helped himself to a brace in the game dominated by Wolfsburg but the star of the show was Daniel Didavi who scored a hat-trick in the game which traditionally marks the start of pre season games for Wolfsburg.
The 18-year-old debuted for the club last season, playing only 45 minutes as he turned pro, and will hope in the 2017-18 season to fully break into the first team.
Tipped to be a part of Wolfsburg front three next season, the 18 year old who made his first team bow towards the end of last season has no doubt enhanced his chances of playing alongside Mario Gomez and new signing Dimata in attack.
Coach Jonker is a big fan of the Nigerian, and he showed his faith in the forward by turning down Inter-Milan after they approached Wolfsburg to have the forward on loan.
