Fulham moved up the table and a spot from the European places following the comfortable 2-0 win against Crystal Palace, at Selhurst Park.
Emily Smith-Rowe and Harry Wilson both got on the score sheet, while Alex Iwobi got an assist in the impressive team performance from Marco Silva’s men.
Fulham could have got more, but VAR intervened to strike out two goals, one each from the goal scorers.
It’s now two wins from five games and the Cottagers are unbeaten in three matches in the Premier League.
Iwobi Is Still Work In Progress
The midfielder’s work rate and game involvement this season has been the difference, surely his numbers will improve.
In Saturday’s game against Palace, he got his second PL assist of the season, equalling last season’s numbers and just 11 appearances in.
His most goal contribution in a Premier League campaign is 9 – and he achieved it twice, once at Everton and Arsenal.
At 28, the Nigerian’s game has seen some improvement, though still lacking in big numbers, he doesn’t seem to be under pressure to deliver the end product.
