Joe Aribo and Paul Onuachu featured prominently as Southampton secured a 3-2 victory over Stoke City to advance to the next round of the English League Cup.

Aribo played the full 90 minutes, marking his second EFL Cup appearance of the season, while Onuachu, who has had limited game time this season, made his debut in the competition with a 23-minute cameo.

Although neither player found the back of the net, both contributed significantly to Southampton’s hard-fought win.

Following the match, Aribo received a 5.99 rating from the BBC, while Onuachu earned a 5.1 rating despite his brief appearance.

The team will discover their quarter-final opponents when the draw takes place on Wednesday.
