D’Tigress guard, Ezinne Kalu, has signed with China’s Zhejiang Golden Bulls following a brief stint in the WNBA.
The 32-year-old announced her arrival in China through a post on her X account, expressing excitement about the new chapter in her career.
The PG had previously signed a seven-day hardship contract with the Atlanta Dream, which allows teams to temporarily replace injured or ill players.
“Hi everyone, after a very long trip, I have finally made it to China safely! I can’t believe this will be my new home for the next few months. Once I unpack and settle in properly.
” I’ll update you all on games, schedules, etc. Thank you all for your continued support,” wrote the player, affectionately known as The Naija Queen.
Ezinne Kalu, a multiple champion, played two games for the Atlanta Dream last season, averaging 3.5 points, 1.0 assist, and 1.0 steal per game.
Kalu was officially added to the Zhejiang roster on October 2 for the 2024/25 season.
