The road to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations is taking shape as four more nations have booked their places for the 2025 edition, scheduled to hold in Morocco.
Following an intense round of qualifiers, the Confederation of African Football announced the latest teams to qualify, setting the stage for a fiercely contested tournament running from December 2025 to January 2026.

These teams will join Cameroon, Algeria, Burkina Faso, and Morocco, who had already qualified earlier.

Nigeria was set to face Libya in a crucial reverse fixture but never got the chance after the Super Eagles’ contingent endured a harrowing 18-hour ordeal, stranded at a Libyan airport.
Following the chaotic experience, Nigeria opted to withdraw from the game, leaving the match canceled.
