As the Super Eagles prepare for for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya in Uyo, the players expressed confidence and readiness.
A media parley held in the team’s hotel, Wednesday, had Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Troost Ekong, Dele Bashiru present to share their thoughts ahead of the encounter.
The atmosphere in the camp remains positive, with the team fully focused on the upcoming match.
Wilfred Ndidi, who has been in fine form for Leicester City, emphasized the team’s readiness:
“We are very much ready. All players are in camp, and we trained very well yesterday. It was the first time we all came together.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru also shared his excitement about the opportunity to represent the national team, stating: “It’s always a great pleasure to represent the national colors. I will give my all if I get the chance to play.”

With the match against Libya just days away, the Super Eagles appeared calm and prepared for the challenge ahead.
The team will hold another training session later this evening behind closed doors, with no media access.
The Libya national team will hold their opening training session today at 4 PM, having arrived in Uyo on Tuesday.
