Chippa United has secured the services of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali for the next three years.
The 28 year-old has renewed his contract with the South African club, opting to remain with the team under an improved salary package.
In addition to his contract extension, Nwabali has been appointed team captain for the upcoming season, recognizing his leadership and influence on the field.
The former Katsina United and Enyimba goalkeeper gained widespread attention across Africa after a stellar performance for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, where he played a key role in helping the Super Eagles reach the final.
