Enugu Rangers head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu announced that the club has commenced preparations for the upcoming CAF Champions League season.

The Flying Antelopes recently clinched the 2023/2024 NPFL championship title with a total of 70 points.

Ilechukwu confirmed that the team is actively engaged in the transfer market, seeking to strengthen the squad with new talent.

He emphasized that efforts are being made across all levels of the club’s management and coaching staff to ensure a successful campaign in the continental competition.

“We have started preparations and are looking to bring in more quality players to fortify our squad for next season’s continental engagements,” Ilechukwu stated.

“It is crucial to enhance our current team because we understand the demands of competing for trophies at the continental level.

“We are preparing thoroughly and are optimistic about making Nigeria proud,” he concluded.
