110
The Golden Eaglets will take on Togo today in their final group game of the Under-17 WAFU B Championship.
According to Golden Eaglets striker Rapha Adams, the team is determined to beat Togo and secure a spot in the semi-finals.
“We will defend, attack, and score as a team by the grace of God,” Adams said. “We have been working hard in training and will work even harder on match day.”
“Our coaches have been teaching us a lot, and if we can interpret everything we have been taught very well against Togo, we will come out victorious.”
The Eaglets must seek a win in this game to avoid facing the host nation Ghana, who finished top of their group.
Nigeria currently has four points from two games, the same number of points as Burkina Faso, who sit atop the group due to goal difference.
The Golden Eaglets will face Togo at 5 PM Nigeria time.
