Nigerian basketball champions Rivers Hoopers have touched down in Kigali, in preparation for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Playoffs.
Rivers Hoopers topped the Sahara Conference in the previous round with a 4-2 record and will now face AS Douanes on Friday.
AS Douanes finished second in the conference with an even record of three wins and three losses.
The other contenders heading to the BAL Playoffs in Kigali include Al Ahly of Egypt, FUS Rabat of Morocco, Petro de Luanda of Angola, US Monastir of Tunisia, Al Ahly Libya, and the Cape Town Tigers of Zambia.
