Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella have bother guided Bayer Leverkusen to the Club’s first Bundesliga title with a 5-0 victory over Werder Bremen, on Sunday.
Boniface contributed a goal and assisted another for Granit Xhaka, before Florian Wirtz scored a stunning hat trick.
The Nigerian scored the opener from the penalty spot in 25th-minute to set Leverkusen on their way.
He then set up Granit Xhaka to make it 2-0 after hour mark, before Florian Wirtz scored treble in quick succession.
Boniface now has 18 goals and 9 assists in 27 games for Xabi Alonso’s side this season.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen’s title victory ends an era of dominance for Bayern, who had won the past 11 Bundesliga titles.
The newly crowned German Champions remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, and remain on course for a remarkable treble with the German Cup and Europa League still in their sights.
