Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi found the net for OGC Nice, but it wasn’t enough to secure victory as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Nantes.
Moffi, making his 22nd appearance for Nice, netted his 9th league goal of the season.
His calmly taken penalty in the 19th minute leveled the score after Matthis Abline had given Nantes the lead.
Despite the home supporters’ delight at Moffi’s equalizer, Nantes seized the opportunity to secure victory, with Mostafa Mohamed netting the winning goal in the 76th minute.
Following the result, Nice occupies the 5th position in the Ligue 1 standings with 43 points, while Nantes sits in 14th place with 28 points.
