I never wanted to leave Watford — Dennis

Emmanuel Dennis has rejoined Watford on loan until the end of the season from Nottingham Forest.

The forward decided to return to English football after frustrating loan with Turkish outfit, Istanbul Basaksehir.

Dennis initially joined Basaksehir on a season long loan from Premier League side Nottingham Forest last summer.

The 26-year-old however struggled for form, failing to score in any of his eight appearances for the club.

“This is my home, my family,” the player said. “Everyone is excited when they return to their family, so if feels good to be back.”

“It is just like when you are in love, it’s a feeling, you can’t explain it, so I’m super excited. I want to come back and glad it happened.

“I wanted to come back the first time I went away. Leaving was hard, because I never wanted to leave, but some reasons I left.

“However it’s different when you are inside. I’m here. Let’s have fun,” Dennis said on his second spell with the Hornets following his loan move from Nottingham Forest.

The striker, who registered 10 goals and six assists in 35 league appearances in his first spell is the first winter signing for the Hornets.
