Semi Ajayi says the Super Eagles will be ready for Cameroon in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations, on Saturday.

The Cameroonians set up a mouthwatering round of 16 clash with Nigeria after a dramatic 3-2 win over Gambia on Tuesday.

Rigobert Song’s side placed second in Group C with four points from possible nine.

“We will be ready for the game, set up game plan, study them, do what we need to do and get to the next round,” Ajayi said when asked about the their chances against the rejuvenated Cameroonians.

The defender added that, their target is to play the final of the tournament.

“We have been giving our all, so the next target is Saturday. The target for us is to play seven games in the tournament, so we are taking it one step after the other.”
