OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi has received a last-minute call-up to join the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2023 African Cup of Nations.
This opportunity arises as he steps in for Victor Boniface, who had to withdraw from the squad due to injury.
Moffi, initially left out of the initial final 25, will now be part of the national team set to depart for Abidjan, with a rendezvous in Lagos.
The 23-year-old striker, netted two goals in four matches during the qualifiers, is set to bolster the squad’s attacking prowess.
Having already accumulated 13 appearances for the national team and scoring four goals, Moffi brings experience and goal-scoring ability to the Super Eagles as they gear up for the prestigious tournament.
